EARLY YEARS FREE ENTITLEMENT

Children become eligible for Early Years Free Entitlement the term after they are three.

The entitlement is for up to 15 hours per week. The level of funding does not cover our running costs and in order to maintain our high staff ratio and the high quality of nursery education that we offer we ask for a voluntary contribution each term. The minimum suggested donation is £14.00 per hr per term. So if your child attends 3 morning sessions of 3 hours each per week the suggested donation would be £126.00  per term. If you are in the position to contribute more we have a higher level contribution of £20.00 per hour. if you attended 9 hours a week this would be £180.00 a term.  (we reserve the right to review and revise these periodically) There is not an obligation to pay this and we understand that there are some families that are unable to  but please be aware that without these voluntary contributions we will not remain sustainable and may have to reduce the ratio and the resources and extra activities that we offer  children. We reserve the right to charge parents for extra curricular activities if the voluntary contribution has not been paid unless this is due to documented financial hardship.

If your child attends nursery for more than 15 hours a week or hours claimed for in another setting take you over the 15 hours limit , you will be charged for the additional hours at full nursery fees of £9.75 per hour.

FOREST SCHOOL FEES

Whilst forest school sessions are run during a normal nursery session there is an extra cost involved £150.00, as the staff ratio is higher for forest school and we need to employ and extra member of staff to enable us to offer this extra experience to our children.

Children are offered a year of Forest School, one session per week in the year before they start school and this will include an induction programme, and between 4 and 6 weeks per term.

It is an optional extra
