Our Aim
Our aim at Peter Pan Nursery is to provide learning through play in a caring and stimulating environment. We aim to provide equal opportunities for all, adults and children alike, not discriminating against gender, race or ability; to allow each individual to develop at their own pace with kindness, encouragement and praise. At Peter Pan we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum alongside our own specialised curriculum providing core experiences and opportunities for all children as well as enhanced and extra excitements.
Learning
Young children learn most effectively through play, exploration and investigation and at Peter Pan we foster children's natural excitement and interest in the world around them through innovative and stimulating activities alongside those that are more familiar. Children are encouraged to become independent both in self-care and their choice of activities and staff are skilled at assessing where the children are in their learning and development and supporting their next steps on their learning journey. Much of the children's learning will take place outdoors in the large and well equipped woodland garden.

Peter Pan nursery and Forest School, a well established, outstanding, family run nursery within a magical woodland setting.
We provide an engaging and creative curriculum to support children to be inspired, creative an independent. Children are encouraged to take on new challenges and take managed risks, whilst developing and learning through play.
We are led by the imagination and curiosity of the children and follow their ideas to enable them to make connections and explore possibilities. Children have an innate awe and wonder in our world and staff share in their excitement to make new discoveries.
We have a strong outdoor ethos, and along with forest school, an exciting and enriching outdoor space. Children learn about the natural world and are offered plenty of open ended resources to imagine, discover and explore.
Peter Pan nursery and Forest School is an inclusive setting with a small, well trained staff team who deliver our curriculum imaginatively and flexibly to meet the needs of every child.
We are a sessional nursery offering morning sessions until 12.15pm and extended day sessions until 2.30pm . We do also offer after school 'Bolt On' sessions until 4.00pm but please note we do not offer full day care or breakfast club.
